Magpie Memories Collection

Four weeks ago my beautiful sister Shellbee passed away. Since then we’ve felt her presence in many ways most strongly through magpies. This is the first time I’ve been able to paint since losing her. Wearing her jumper I finally felt her with me again… and these two pieces were created.

‘She Rises’ and ‘She Rests’ represent movement and stillness..sending and staying.

A reminder that love doesn’t leave it just changes form.

Both artworks are set on pink her favourite colour with a gold crown because she will always be my angel queen.
